7th Annual Edinburgh Infectious Diseases Symposium As ever we have a very varied programme of speakers. We will be showcasing the huge range of research in infectious disease research across Edinburgh, including: Eleanor Riley, The Roslin Institute, UoE Alasdair Nisbet, Moredun Research Institute Thamarai Schneiders, Division of Infection and Pathway Medicine, UoE Meghan Perry, Regional Inectious Diseases Unit, Western General Hospital Rose Zamoyska, School of Biological Sciences, UoE Rowland Kao, Royal (Dick) School of Veterinary Studies, UoE Peter Barlow, Edinburgh Napier University This year for the first time we will also have several short talks presented by some of our postdocs and senior PhD students. There will be two prizes of £100 for the best posters presented by a PhD student and a postdoc, so please bring your poster along! Ker Memorial Prize and Lecture To round off proceedings we will present the Ker Memorial Prize to the students submitting the best PhD these in infectious disease in 2017, and the Ker Memorial Lecture will be given by Professor Mike Ferguson from the University of Dundee. We will conclude with a wine reception to which all are most welcome! We very much look forward to welcoming you to what will be a very stimulating day! Registration now open!
