Image Professor Francisca Mutapi Epidemiologist Francisca Mutapi has been selected as a TED Fellow, joining a class of 20 remarkable individuals who are collaborating across disciplines to spark positive change around the world. Professor Francisca Mutapi was selected for her work on neglected tropical diseases focussing on locally-led solutions to eliminate these diseases to empower affected communities to thrive and achieve the global development goals. Founded in 2009, the TED Fellows program now has 512 Fellows from 100 countries.
