The data and mathematical modelling results presented will help in formulation of timely, targeted, evidence-based, public health responses to COVID-19.
The tools have been developed by statisticians and modellers from The Roslin Institute, University of Edinburgh and Biomathematics and Statistics Scotland, with support from the Data Driven Innovation (DDI) initiative of the Edinburgh & South East Scotland City Region Deal, and Public Health Scotland.

The maps and models have been created using data from the COVID-19 research database provided by the Public Health Scotland electronic Data Research and Innovation Service (eDRIS), as well as publicly available data.
