The Edinburgh Pandemic Research Forum brings together researchers with a very wide range of expertise and perspective across five major themes. The Edinburgh Pandemic Research Forum brings together a unique network of experts in behavioural and social sciences, with clinical, veterinary and basic sciences to inform a genuinely interdisciplinary, whole-of-society, approach to the study of pandemics.Alongside work on infectious disease epidemiology, genomics, diagnostics, vaccines, and disease modelling, members examine how behaviour, communication, inequalities, policy, and ethics, shape health responses and outcomes, and the broader societal impacts of pandemics.
