We are delighted to welcome to back to the annual Edinburgh Infectious Diseases Symposium!

Join us on May 27 2026 at the Edinburgh Future's Institute for a showcase of the enormous range of infectious disease research across Edinburgh.

We are delighted that Prof Emma Thomson, Director of the Centre for Virus Research at the University of Glasgow, will present the keynote Ker Memorial Lecture.

ECR talks and posters

There will be an option for ECRs to apply to deliver a short (3 minute) talk on the day. If you would like to give a short ECR talk, please apply below.

We will also be running two poster competitions on the day, best staff/postdoc and best student poster. Please indicate when registering that you will be brining a poster. Posters must be A0 portrait format.
