Aims and objectives

A recent global pharmaceutical R&D review lists the top-three general mechanisms of action as immunostimulant, anticancer immunotherapy and immunosuppressant.

The increasing dominance of these categories is reflected in growing academic and industrial research in the pharmacology of immunity, inflammation and infection.

Data exchange between these three research communities and the pharmacology community is therefore critical to the development of new drugs, and the overall aim of this meeting.
