Scottish Professionals in the Fight Against Tuberculosis

Postponed

Please note that the event scheduled for 10 May 2019 has been postponed.  Details of the revised date will be posted here later in the summer.

Today, tuberculosis remains the world’s deadliest infectious disease.

Scotland’s research institutions have a proud history of developing new tools in the fight against the global tuberculosis epidemic, a track record which includes the pioneering work of Sir John Crofton.

Researchers and professionals across Scotland continue to be at the forefront of tuberculosis control. This collaborative event from the All Party Parliamentary Group (APPG) on Global Tuberculosis and a series of Scottish universities and professional organisations will be an opportunity for engagement between parliamentarians, academics and other professionals, as we discuss how joint approaches can best tackle tuberculosis in the years ahead.
