***CANCELLED*** British Society of Parasitology Spring Meeting

Edinburgh boasts a long association with parasitology including the study of malaria, a relationship that will be celebrated with a special stream running throughout the meeting focused on and around Plasmodium.

Keynote lectures in the areas of Plasmodium genome evolution, mosquito biology and human immunology, as well as relevance to cancer biology, will highlight the strength and breadth of current malaria research. Edinburgh also benefits from strong links to ecological and veterinary parasitology, both of which will be represented by distinct streams and keynote lectures in partnership with BES and BAVP.

These major streams will be supplemented by sessions on host-pathogen interactions, neglected tropical diseases and nematode biology, as well as a series of open sessions.
